Grand Piano Concert: Suzuki Circle of Family and Friends
February 2, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Parmer Hall, Calvin and Janet High Center
Messiah College
Over one hundred young piano students, ages 5 to 18, from the greater Harrisburg area will perform in a “Grand Concert: Suzuki Circle of Family and Friends” on four concert grand pianos with professional string players in Parmer Hall, the High Center, at Messiah College. Young pianists who are studying the Suzuki Method are students of Kim Coler, Christine Danielewicz, Yu Ting Hsu, Rachel Rennels, Megan Rehm and Ann Shurtz. This concert is presented by the Capital Area Piano Chapter of the Central Pennsylvania Suzuki Association (CPSA).
2019 Suzuki Strings Graduation Concert

Join us for the first annual 2019 Suzuki Graduation Concert. This concert is presented by the Harrisburg Area Flute and Strings Chapter of the Central Pennsylvania Suzuki Association. The violinists, violists, and cellists performing are students of Jane Anabe, Kirsten del Gaudio, Dustin Dicely, Michael Gamon, Joanne Link, Barbara Lewis, Emily Rolka, and Steve Witter. Come hear the beautiful music of the Suzuki repertoire as coached by their teachers and polished by the students. We hope to make this an annual event to motivate the students to excel and progress year to year in the repertoire. All are welcome to come!
We invite you to help us raise the funds needed to fund these events!
Please make checks payable to CPSA. Mail checks for the piano concert to Ann Shurtz, CPSA, 6030 Creekview Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. Mail donations for the strings chapter event to Barb Lewis, 1031 Indiana Ave, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
Support our concert at one of these levels:
Underwriter: $1000 donation.
This includes: recognition as an underwriter in all media releases, advertisements, placards and programs, and a “thank you announcement” at the concert. You may elect to have a full page ad in the program if you choose.
Sponsor: $500 to $999 donation.
This includes recognition in the program and at the concert, and the option for a full page ad if desired.
Patron: A gift of any amount toward this concert is immensely appreciated and will be recognized with a program listing in the following categories:
Fortissimo: $250 to $499
Forte: $100 to $249
Mezzo Forte: $25 to $99
We welcome business patrons for the piano concert: full page ad ($300), half page ad ($150), business listing ($75 for 5 lines). Detailed information and help creating your ad is available on request. We would appreciate receiving program ads by January 11. Other donations are happily accepted anytime!
